A History of the Toyota Tundra

The Toyota Tundra entered the world in 1999, immediately turning heads for those who work in the automotive industry. Later, drivers of all ages would become highly accustomed to the Tundra. First known as the T150 and offering two or four-door options, the Tundra underwent some changes over the years. For instance, in 2002, the Tundra added a side step bed for the Access Cab models. In 2003, to promote the "Terminator 3" movie, drivers could choose the Tundra T3 Special Edition. By the time 2007 came around, the Tundra had added 13 additional variants to the lineup.

An all-new design for the 2014 Tundra was revealed at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. It was then when the Tundra gained new features such as updated seats, a backup camera, a new tailgate design, a larger grille, front and rear fender flares, and more. Over the years, the Toyota Tundra has continued to change - for the better. It remains a popular truck that drivers of all ages appreciate.
