The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is an all-new vehicle available through Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney, and it marks the first time that the Land Cruiser has been sold or leased in the U.S. in several years. The Land Cruiser 1958 is the base and most affordable trim, and the 1958 is in reference to the first year that the Land Cruiser was offered in this country. The Land Cruiser is the standard model and likely to be the most popular trim, and the Land Cruiser First Edition is a special edition limited to this model year.

All 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser models available through Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney will have a smaller form factor than the previous Land Cruiser offered in America. Overall length has been reduced from 194.9 to 193.7 inches, which is a hair more than 16 feet. The wheelbase remains the same at 112.2 inches. The new model has been reduced in height by almost an inch. Minimum ground clearance is similar at 8.7 inches. The approach, breakover and departure angles have been improved to 31, 25 and 22 inches, respectively, and the aesthetic returns to the boxier design of the classic Land Cruiser.

The standard interior configuration for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser in McKinney has two rows and seating for five. Expect ample headroom and legroom in both rows for adults of all sizes and more than 20 cubes of dedicated cargo space. Cloth upholstery and carpeting are standard. The Land Cruiser trim upgrades the interior with simulated leather seating, and the First Edition has real leather. Whether there will be a third row option is one of the most common questions we get, and that is likely due to the preproduction models having provisions for it. We suspect that the option will be offered at some point but do not yet have an official information regarding it.

All models will have a two-speed transfer case—4-Hi and 4-Lo—and a front disconnecting stabilizer bar is optional and provides superior wheel articulation.

One of the biggest updates for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser in McKinney is that it now has a hybrid powertrain, and this is the only powertrain offered. This is the same i-Force Max powertrain that powers the Tacoma. While official specs have not yet been released, we know that it makes 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in Toyota’s pickup. In addition, Toyota has already said officially that trailering equipment is standard and that all models can tow up to 6,000 pounds.

The base trim has an 8-inch infotainment touch screen. The Land Cruiser and First Edition get a 12.3-inch touch screen instead. The software and user interface are the same across all models. Most advanced driver-assistance technologies are included standard through the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package.
