Sales Associate

Sales Associates are responsible for developing and maintaining customer accounts. You will interact with customers to provide them with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision regarding the vehicle they are considering. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the customer's experience
  • Serve as an advocate to Pat Lobb Toyota by sharing the brand.
  • Communicating effectively to customers both in person and over the phone by listening and understanding customer's needs and wants.
  • Consulting and guiding customers to the appropriate next step in the buying process.
  • Facilitating steps of the sale, including the vehicle appraisal process, taking test drives and submitting finance applications.
  • Participate and maintain Toyota product knowledge through on-going training and self-development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and demonstrate excellent team work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Sales and/or customer service experience, preferably 2-5 years minimum
  • Automotive industry experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak a second language a plus
  • Mathematical skills including, adding, subtracting, multiplication and division are essential.
  • Valid driver's license

Customer Service - Service Department

Our Service department is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist with receiving and making outbound phone calls with customers by answering questions, assisting with vehicle issues and/or scheduling appointments. This critical position is the first impression for customers contacting the dealership via phone. 

Responsibilities:                                                                             
The role is a full-time position servicing the dealership's customers by:

  • Answering phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Assessing customer's needs and routing call to appropriate dealer representative, as needed.
  • Scheduling customer appointments with Service Advisors.
  • Advising customers with service, and/or parts information, as needed.
  • Log customer activity in CRM.
  • Other projects, as needed.

 

Requirements:

Minimum two years in a customer service position, preferably in a call center or phone-based role.

Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Motivated self-starter able to work effectively with all departments with limited supervision.

Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Must be punctual, with solid time-management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Valid in-state driver's license.
Professional appearance.

We need more Valets for our service department. We are looking for someone who is eager, a quick learner, able to work at a fast pace and can be self-sufficient. The Valet is a vital role to the department and requires a flexible, 'Can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers in the service area
Organize and arrange the parking lot
Move vehicles as needed
Put gas in vehicles
Other tasks as requested by management

Requirements:
18 years or older
Valid driver's license
Clean driving history
Operate a manual transmission vehicle
Ability to work full-time and on Saturdays, as needed, including the potential for overtime.

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing the shipping and receiving of parts through the parts department, including but not limited to stocking parts shelves and processing claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Controls receipt of inventory by receiving incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location.
  • Identifies and reports all overages and shortages
  • Stocks parts and accessories in correct locations
  • Notifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders, working closely with parts counter personnel and management.
  • Performs inventory test counts as directed by management
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • May operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Follows safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

- Toyota parts experience preferred
- Forklift operator experience preferred
- Warehouse experience in car dealership preferred
- Customer service experience
- Data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
