When your lease runs out, you have three options:

1. Simply return the lease and walk away
2. Purchase the vehicle if you want to keep driving it
3. Lease a new Toyota or Lexus, or purchase one outright

The Lease Return Process

Before you come in, you will want to take some steps to ensure the lease return goes smoothly. Here's a helpful checliist:

1. Clean out your personal belongings
2. Ensure the owners manual is in the car
3. Gather all sets of keys and ensure original equipment (headrests, 3rd row seat if applicable, etc) are in the vehicle
4. Check your vehicle for any excessive wear and tear. Make necessary repairs or be prepared to discuss options for repairs with our team

When you arrive at our dealership, we will have you sign an odometer statement and get in touch with the lease company. The lease company will schedule an inspection to assess the vehicle and send you a final bill for any remaining payments or excess wear and tear if applicable. Meanwhile, you are free to shop for your new Toyota or Lexus lease or purchase!
