The RAV4 continues to be one of the most popular crossover SUVs in North America, and this is a version of that vehicle with a hybrid powertrain. Toyota offers it in seven trims. The LE is the most affordable trim and one of the best base models in the class. The XLE adds more creature comforts. The SE is a sportier trim. The XLE Premium builds on the SE with even more cabin enhancements. The XSE is the sportiest trim, and the Limited is a luxury-oriented model. You also have the option of the Woodland Edition, which is a new addition for this model year. It is an off-road-oriented version of the vehicle that has a TRD off-road-tuned suspension. The suspension is also lifted for an additional half inch or so of extra clearance, and all of these changes make the Woodland Edition the closest thing to the TRD Off-Road that Toyota has yet released for the hybrid RAV4. This model also has an appearance package exclusive to this trim, boasting special Woodland Edition badging and bronze-colored wheels. The other big news is that the RAV4 Hybrid now gets a digital instrument panel across all trim levels. Toyota has also introduced the new Toyota Audio Multimedia infotainment system. This system provides more features, better usability, and simply more refinement overall. Expect improved touch screens, wireless versions of the popular Android and Apple software, and even over-the-air update capabilities that ensure that your infotainment system is up-to-date without you even having to think about it.
